Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc and its Group Managing Director (GMD) bags Corporate and Fellowship Membership Award of OSHAssociation UK -Nigeria Region respectively, including other key stakeholders. The event was hosted by Dangote Sugar Refinery in Lagos recently.
Occupational Safety is the root of sustainable development and productivity in any work environment. It was a great moment with the board management staff of Dangote Sugar and in the career of our distinguished new Fellows, the GMD who appreciated the Association for the recognition, also charged all new Fellows to put their best in promotion of Safety in the industry.
The Regional President of the Association Dr. Dalhatu Mohammed, who gave an inspiring safety speech, made it known to the delegation in the event that the OSH Bill in the National Assembly will soon see the light of day, to ensure compliance of occupational safety in the industry, for the good of all Nigerians.
Other dignitaries in the conferment event were Dr. Reginald Anyanwu, Former President NSICN, a Fellow of the Association, Director Safety Management and Standard from Standard Organisation of Nigeria-SON, GMD Future Concerns Safety Center and other stakeholders.
Dr. Reginald Anyanwu, congratulated the management of Dangote Sugar and Engr. A. Sule for the great achievement, included other awardees and corporate members of the Association.
